Ministry Staff at Faith Tabernacle Church
Pastor Craig & Jennie Campbell
Lead Pastor
Pastor Craig has been on staff for almost 15 years. He has served as Youth Pastor, Worship Director & Associate Pastor. Currently he is serving as Lead Pastor where he oversees the vision of the church, provides leadership to ministries, and pastoral care.
Pastor Craig grew up in Lockport and is happy to say he also grew up going to Faith Tabernacle Church. After graduating high school, Pastor Craig went to college for accounting and finance. God spoke to Pastor Craig, and directed him to Elim Bible Institute where Pastor Craig graduated from the Year in the Son program. After graduation, Pastor Craig married his wife Jennie and they moved back to Lockport to join the staff at Faith Tabernacle. Pastor Craig has also been certified as a member of the John Maxwell leadership team. He is also a Community Garden Board Member. Pastor Craig and Jennie now have five amazing children (Leland, Hudson, Adalyn, Lilian, and Fynley) who they love dearly. In his spare time Pastor Craig enjoys fishing, writing music, playing sports, reading, and spending time with his family. In everything he does, Pastor Craig desires to pursue Christ and to see His Kingdom come!
Jennie Campbell, Pastor Craig’s wife, began serving at the church when she and Pastor Craig moved to Lockport almost 15 years ago. Jen came alongside Pastor Craig with Encounter Youth Ministry when he was the youth pastor. She helped organize and chaperone different events, as well as, lead worship during youth group. Currently, she is serving as our Worship Director and helps to coach our Children’s Director as she leads FTC Kids and the teachers. Jen, originally from Croghan, NY, now resides in Lockport and works as a nurse at Women and Children’s Hospital in Buffalo when she is not doing work for the church. In addition, she is also the mother to five beautiful children (Leland, Hudson, Adalyn, Lilian, and Fynley). It is safe to say that she does not get bored very easily. She also enjoys singing and writing music, and most importantly being a mother and a wife.

Peggy Belfield

Business Manager/Seniors Pastor
Peggy began working at Faith Tabernacle in 1984 (WOW, that’s 34 years!). Peggy oversees the business activities of the church and works with the ministerial staff to fulfill the church’s vision. Peggy also provides pastoral oversight to the seniors.
Peggy came to know the Lord under the ministry of our founding Pastors Wayne and Sharon Dent in 1981.
Peggy loves the Word of God and graduated from Buffalo School of the Bible and Elim Bible Institute at Buffalo. Peggy enjoys serving in the missions field, and has traveled to several third world countries on short term missions trips. Peggy stays in communication with missionaries, and aids in serving them in whatever way she is able.
Peggy also enjoys being active in local outreaches, such as nursing home ministry and street ministry. She is passionately pro-life and has served on the Board of Directors of the Lockport CareNet Pregnancy Center for many years.
In her spare time, Peggy very much enjoys traveling (especially to the American Southwest), geocaching and urban exploration.
She also loves her husband, David, whom she married in May of 2014. She is excited to fulfill her new role as his wife.

Pastor Ben Fresch

Assistant Pastor
Ben answered the call to enter into full time ministry and began working at Faith Tabernacle Church in June of 2015. Ben serves along side the ministry staff in helping to fulfill the church’s vision. Ben assists with our LifeGroups and he is the director of Nexus Student Ministry. Ben has also overseen all audio/visual aspects of our church, and leads a group of volunteers in the sound booth.
Ben has grown up in Lockport, and has also grown up in Faith Tabernacle Church. Pastor Craig was Ben’s Youth Pastor, and Ben was on a team that Pastor Craig led on a mission’s trip to Nicaragua. Through his years in Encounter Youth, Ben met his wife Megan, and they got married in April 2013 at the church. Ben’s wife assists our Generations Director with FTCKids, and also assists with Nexus. Ben and his wife are also graduates of the W.I.N.G.S. mentorship program at Elim Fellowship.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys yard work, reading, coffee, and graphic design. Ben also really enjoys music, and cannot work in silence, there is always music coming from his office.

Dominique Wroten

Youth Director
Dominique began working at Faith Tab in the summer of 2019. While studying for her Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and Student Teaching, Dom sensed that the Lord was leading her in a different direction. She knew she would teach, and be with young people, but she knew it wasn’t the capacity that she had expected. She faithfully said yes to the Lords leading, and after graduating, began working at the church.
Dom has a sincere love for the Lord and has a desire to see everyone around her come to know Him. She is excited to serve as the Youth Director for Nexus Student Ministries and be a part of raising up the next generation!
In her spare time, she loves hanging out with friends and spending time with her loved ones. Her favorite thing is just to be goofy and have fun being around the people she cares about.

Albert C. Prawel

Albert (Chris) Prawel has been working at Faith Tabernacle Church for 14 years. Chris is our custodian and maintenance man. Whether it is fixing a leaky faucet, or installing molding after a renovation, Chris is a jack of all trades. Chris also serves as a deacon, and as such, is available for prayer, and helps to support the vision of the church.
Before working at Faith Tabernacle, Chris worked for 35 years at Harrison Radiator. During his tenure with Harrison’s, Chris was their repair man. I guess you could say that Chris really likes to fix things.
Chris has been happily married for 49 years to his wife Patricia. They have 5 grown children, who have blessed them with 7 grandchildren.
Chris carries Psalm 107:8 in his heart as his life verse:
“Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for his wonderful works the the children of men!”

Candace Orton

Children’s Ministry Director
Our Children’s Ministry Director is Candace Orton. Candace began working at Faith Tabernacle in the summer of 2017. Candace works closely with Pastor Craig’s wife, Jennie as she leads and directs FTC Kids and Adventure Kids.
Candace has attended Faith Tabernacle for several years and is a part of the W.I.N.G.S. leadership training program through Elim Fellowship. During a season of seeking the Lord, Candace felt the call to ministry and began serving in children’s ministry. She really enjoys working with the Sunday school teachers, and has been able to lead her mom and sisters to being Sunday school teachers as well.
When she’s not working at the church, Candace is also a professional hair stylist. She works at a local salon (and cuts everyone’s hair in the office). Candace is also a coffee lover and enjoys traveling (especially to Israel!).

Nate Nimetz

Worship Assistant
Nate Nimetz began working at Faith Tab in the summer of 2017 as our Worship Assistant.
Nate has always had a passion for worshipping Jesus, and has led worship since he was in youth group. Nate now assists Pastor Craig and his wife Jennie with leading worship and overseeing the Worship Teams as well as the Sound Booth Team. Nate also serves as a Youth Leader for Nexus, where, as you may have guessed, he also helps develop and disciple young worshippers. He has also been a part of the W.I.N.G.S. leadership training program through Elim Fellowship.
When Nate is not working at the church, he is working hard with our local utilities company installing and repairing gas lines.
Nate is newly married to his wonderful wife, Tessa, who also is a Youth Leader in Nexus. In his spare time Nate likes to play euchre, enjoy the great outdoors and eat chicken wings.

Pastors Wayne & Sharon Dent

Our Founding Pastors

Pastors Wayne and Sharon Dent founded Faith Tabernacle Church in their home in 1975. After one month the church outgrew their home (with 68 people), and they moved to a rented building on South Street. Four years later the church moved to its present location at Beattie Avenue. They pastored the church together for 38 years (“To God Be The Glory, Great Things He Has Done”), and in January of 2013 they released the church to the next generation.

Far from being retired, they are now serving the greater Body of Christ through ministering at different churches and serving as mentors at Tabernacle Campus Church, on the University at Buffalo Campus. Wayne also has a deep burden to see spiritual transformation take place in the city of Lockport. During the Summer months their ministry focus is at Lighthouse Christian Camp, on Lake Ontario, in Barker, NY.

Pastors Wayne and Sharon have three wonderful, adult children, Lisa, Mark and Joshua, all happily married (a teacher, a lawyer and a financial advisor). They are also blessed with nine beautiful grandchildren (eight girls and one boy).

For enjoyment they like taking line-dance lessons, hiking, biking and kayaking, and spending time at their camp. They especially love studying God’s Word and drawing closer to Him.
